After succesful development on the Baltic and Scandinavian markets the Latvian modular house manufacturer VIA-S modular houses Ltd is planning to sell its production in Norway.
The manufacturer is located near Liepaja and works to capacity. There are about hundred workers employed. According to the company’s member of the board Janis Akerfeld, Latvian people believe, that modular houses are undomesticated containers. Despite of this fact, the company tapped the local market and it succesfully entered the Baltic market. But VIA-S modular houses Ltd still hopes to change Latvian people’s mind. The company is going to show its production on the trade shows „Made in Liepaja” and „House 2013”.
Of course, Scandinavian clients’ opinion on modular houses is much better. They use modular houses not just for industrial, but also for domestic needs. This fact reflects the sales. That’s why the company’s representatives optimistically see the perspectives on Norwegian market.
